As old as Conquest itself, the 2008 Cherub Awards will be presented at the Saturday night banquet for the winners of each category.
The legendary Cherubs will have pride of place on the winner’s mantle piece. Or possibly be hidden away where no one will ever find them.
Video and costume categories will be judged on the night.

Lynn Henricks Memorial Award
In 1996, an award was initiated to commemorate the contribution Lynn Henricks made to fandom. Each year at the Conquest Convention, one or more entrants in the art and model contests will be awarded the Lyn Henricks Memorial Award.
The winning entry will not necessarily be the most technically correct, nor the most "anything". The judges will be looking for those qualities which made Lynn's works special. Lynn had a love of, and enthusiasm for, all things to do with science fiction and fantasy.
The yearly prizes are valued at $100. The money for the prizes comes from a perpetual fund set up by Lynn's father and friends. In the trading room, look for the Lynn Henricks Memorial Fund sign. Money raised goes into the fund to encourage those who have a love and a gift such as Lynn's
